I went out down to the waterfront here in Bristol, and tried to get some video of pigeons walking, taking off and landing. I got this one to do a little bit of flight for me by throwing a scrunched up receipt at it.
I then took that video, and rotoscoped it in Flash.
Then, I had a go at trying to make it loop a little bit by taking some of the frames from earlier in the cycle.

I'm probably gonna try this again with some better quality video, but I might have a go at a stylised take off based on this video here.
